 From Steve's special collection, this Ramaura Ruby has been set with Lab grown accent diamonds in a heavy custom white gold mounting. This 3.47 carat ruby is not "man-made"... it is woman-made! It is lab grown and came from Physicist Judith Osmer's Long Beach laboratory in 2001, about the same time that her remarkable ruby crystals were installed in the Gem and Mineral collection of the Smithsonian museum, along side the Hope Diamond! The ring is large and in charge, the ultimate statement piece. It is a one of a kind here as Ms. Osmer retired about twenty years ago. Her rubies, due to their perfection, remain the only non-natural crystals in the Smithsonian exhibit.
